Trading the sports field for the stage was a transition I just had to make when a chance encounter introduced me to theatre ten years ago. It was like walking through that wardrobe and straight into Narnia. Another world. Brought to life!

Now, with considerable experience in theatre, film and presenting, my awareness and ability as an actor/presenter continues to evolve with an ongoing focus on honing my craft through learning. I have trained with Perth Actor's Collective (WA), Pozitiv Productions (London) and most recently at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts when a London audition won me a place at an incredible school in the world's most exciting city – New York!

My interest in people, relationships and behaviour led me to work for and obtain a degree in psychology and this interest continues to feed my love of observing people engaged in life. I gain so much from watching other actors and presenters work too which always inspires me to be better. Being surrounded by the energy of the creative is a bigger buzz than bungee jumping and it lasts a lot longer!

I am still and will always be, sports mad! I represented the University in swimming, competed at county level in athletics and my current passion is Adventure Racing through the wilds of WA. I also enjoy regular rounds of golf, horse-back riding, and hitting it hard at the gym. My favourite leisure is to watch cricket whenever and wherever it is being played in the world and although Scottish, where cricket and only cricket is concerned, I am always, always, an England fan!
